Why consultThe jaw
The jaw, when it clenches.
OsteopathyPhysiotherapyOne hour
The jaw works every time we talk, eat or clench our teeth. When it tenses up, it can be felt all the way into the neck and the head.

What we look at
Looking for the cause, not just the symptom.
The jaw, but also the neck, the posture and what makes it clench.
Clenching your teeth often goes with stress. If you feel like it, we offer a bodywork session and time to talk about it, in the same hour: Bodywork and wellness coaching
Dysfunctions of the jaw joint, or TMJ, and some cases of tinnitus are complex problems. Take advantage of our expertise to reduce the many impacts of this condition, both for your current pain and tension as well as for the future of your teeth’s enamel, and for prevention of long-term wear of the jaw joint. Through the management of tension and stress, advice, and collaboration with your dentist when needed. Let us help you target and treat the root of the problem for lasting well-being.
The treatment is mostly hands-on, and it is completed with exercises and advice for daily life.
- “I wake up with my jaw clenched.”
- “My jaw clicks when I open my mouth.”
- “I have trouble opening wide.”
How we go about it
Assess, treat, then continue at home.
- First
The assessment
A detailed questionnaire on your history, then the examination: we look for where the problem comes from, not just where it hurts.
- Then
The treatment
Mostly hands-on, in a private room. Your therapist stays with you for the whole session.
- After
At home
Exercises prescribed and taught, so the work continues between sessions.
