Our mission: your well-being
Alida Farrell is a physiotherapist, a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec, and an osteopath trained at the Centre Ostéopathique du Québec. She assesses your condition and treats it with her hands. When needed, exercises and coaching round it out for a more lasting well-being.
Our purpose is to get to the root of your problem, not just the symptom. We refuse the assembly-line approach: one hour, a private room, a single therapist.
A gentle approach, from newborns to seniors. You can receive your care in French, English or Spanish.
Inside the NDG Health Clinic, 3792 Décarie Blvd., steps from Villa-Maria metro. By bus 24 or 105, or by car via the 15 and the 720.

How it works

01
At the NDG Health Clinic, 3792 Décarie Boulevard. On foot from Villa-Maria or Vendôme metro, on the 24 or 105 bus, or by car by highway 15 or the 720. The clinic has a calm, private and comfortable atmosphere.

02
First, a detailed questionnaire on your history: we look for the cause, not just the symptom. Then plenty of hands-on techniques rather than machines, so your therapist stays with you for the whole session.

03
Exercises are prescribed and taught to complete the work, sometimes using McKenzie technique or global postural re-education. As needed, we work with other professionals at the NDG Health Clinic.

Our team
Not sure whether you should see a physiotherapist or an osteopath? With Alida, you don't have to choose. And for life's big transitions, Nicole and Sharonne are there.
Physiotherapist · osteopath D.O. · life coach
A physiotherapist since 2000 and an osteopath since 2013, she brings both approaches into a single session: assess, treat, then teach you the exercises that are yours. In French, English or Spanish.
Her page
Life coach · life transitions and grief
A graduate in professional coaching from the École de Formation Syma in 2025, she supports life's big transitions: retirement, career change, grief, moving, caregiving. A humanistic approach, complementing the clinic's care.

Health and life coach · Qi Gong
Certified by the Health Coach Institute, a Chinese body work practitioner and a Qi Gong instructor, Sharonne supports people ready to take an active part in their health and their life. Coaching in English, bodywork at the clinic on Mondays and online Qi Gong on Tuesdays at noon.

The list is long. Here is what we hear most often, and what physiotherapy and osteopathy can look at together.
At any age, treatments are also useful as prevention: easing tensions before they cause pain.
What people say about Alida
Excerpts from her public Google reviews, in French and in English. The wall scrolls on its own, and you can pause it to read at your own pace.
« Je consulte Alida occasionnellement depuis plus d'une dizaine d'années lorsque je me blesse en pratiquant un sport. Plutôt que de mettre des barrières à certains sports que je pratique, elle adapte les traitements qu'elle me donne. »
« Alida has an exceptional gift for understanding how the body moves. She brings her physio and osteo perspectives to every situation. »
« Excellente ostéopathe qui comprend bien les besoins. »
« Alida est une perle rare d'ostéopathie. Elle connaît extrêmement bien l'anatomie et la physiologie du corps. »
« She was thorough in her assessment, took the time to answer my questions… She also was incredible in her followup after the treatment via emails and phone calls. »
« Very knowledgeable with both physio and Osteopath. »
« Toujours à l'écoute et professionnelle. Alida démontre par son expérience des outils et exercices très utiles. »
« Alida has been treating me for 7 years… She was able to assess the problem and point out exactly where it is coming from. »
« She is a very attentive therapist… she does spend the time to listen. »

A health you cultivate
“For a few years now, I have been studying longevity and thinking a lot about the components of overall health. In particular, the relationship between body and mind, the importance of our connection with Nature, and our relationships with food, movement, rest and other people.”
Alida Farrell, physiotherapist and osteopath
That is the spirit in which life coaching joined the clinic: personalized support through a period of transition or major challenge, combining body and mind.
