Why consultSciatica
Sciatica, from the back to the leg.
PhysiotherapyOsteopathyOne hour
Sciatica is pain that follows the path of the sciatic nerve, from the lower back or the buttock down the leg.

What we look at
Looking for the cause, not just the symptom.
We look for where the pressure on the nerve comes from: the lower back, the pelvis, the posture.
Its sections on posture and on the right way to bend. The back care video
For a herniated disc, we sometimes use McKenzie techniques. The hands-on treatment is completed with exercises prescribed and taught, which you repeat at home.
The session lasts one hour, in a private room, with a physiotherapist who is also an osteopath.
- “It goes down into my buttock and the back of my thigh.”
- “Sitting for a long time makes it worse.”
- “I have numbness in my leg.”
How we go about it
Assess, treat, then continue at home.
- First
The assessment
A detailed questionnaire on your history, then the examination: we look for where the problem comes from, not just where it hurts.
- Then
The treatment
Mostly hands-on, in a private room. Your therapist stays with you for the whole session.
- After
At home
Exercises prescribed and taught, so the work continues between sessions.

Our treatments complement your health care, they do not replace it. If you are being followed for a medical condition, keep that follow-up going and talk to your doctor.
Increasing weakness in the leg, numbness between the thighs or sudden trouble urinating calls for medical attention without delay.
